Qualifications

• Knowledge of food production processes and sanitation.
• Knowledge of food safety, labeling, and FDA basics.
• Confectionery/foods major recommended.
• Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy bakery environment.

Responsibilities

• Fry donuts, add toppings, and decorate pastries and bread.
• Carry out kitchen operations and oven duties.
• Bake recipes and prepare desserts.
• Scale and shape breads, loaves, and pastries.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work station.
• Complete production, usage, and waste reports.
• Inform supervisors when equipment is not working properly.
