Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a kitchen professional to prepare and bake a range of goods for daily service, catering, and special events. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and efficient production within a fast-paced kitchen.

The position offers both full-time and part-time hours with a benefits package. The candidate should be comfortable following recipes, maintaining FIFO, and collaborating with the food service team to meet daily goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, cakes, pies, bars, and other desserts.
• Follow standardized recipes and production schedules.
• Measure, mix, shape, proof, and bake products according to quality standards.
• Decorate cakes and desserts as needed.
• Prepare items for catering and special events.
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO).
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Monitor ingredient inventory and notify supervisors of ordering needs.
• Assist with other kitchen and cafeteria duties as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with the food service team to meet daily production goals.

Job description

Prepare a variety of fresh baked goods for breakfast, lunch, dinner, catering, and special events. This position ensures consistent quality, proper food handling, and an attractive presentation while working efficiently in a fast-paced food service environment. Full time, Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 3 p.m. with benefit packagePart time, Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 12 p.m.
