Job summary

Aramark in the Auburn area is seeking a baker to join our Food Services Team. You will bake a variety of items, set up workstation, measure ingredients, and operate ovens and mixers to ensure quality production.

The role emphasizes food safety, adherence to recipes, and customer friendly service; prior baking experience preferred and food safety certification(s) may be required; physical demands include standing and lifting.

Qualifications

• Previous baker or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations.
• Must obtain food safety certification(s).
• Basic math and counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Bakes and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, etc.
• Operates ovens, stoves, mixers and other equipment.
• Safely uses utensils including knives and follows food safety policies.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and staff.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies, including sanitation and asset security.
