Job summary

Bethel Bakery in Bethel Park, PA, is seeking a hands-on Baker to work with dough, fillings, and a range of bakery equipment. This permanent, year-round role follows a Monday-Friday schedule from 4 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Training is available for applicants without prior bakery experience. The position requires candidates to be at least 18 years old, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Bethel Bakery has been baking life sweeter since 1955. We’re looking for a hands-on Baker who enjoys working with dough, staying busy, and producing a variety of baked goods every day.

This is a permanent, year-round position with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, and no evening or weekend shifts. Previous bakery experience is helpful, but not required; we’re willing to train!

What You’ll Do

• Work with different doughs, fillings, and bakery equipment.
• Maintain product quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Maintain clean and orderly workstations/equipment; follow food safety and sanitation procedures.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

This is an active, hands-on bakery production position requiring:

• Standing and moving throughout the shift, with frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements.
• Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling cabinets and racks weighing up to 350 pounds.
• Working around varying temperatures, including hot ovens and cold coolers/freezers.

Schedule & Hours

• Full-Time: 40 hours/week
• Monday-Friday; 4 a.m.-12 p.m.
• Availability required during busy holiday seasons
• $15-$16/hour, based on experience
