Job summary

Bethel Bakery, established in 1955, is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to support our production team. This permanent, year-round, part-time position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 10 AM to 2 PM with no evenings or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing items, returning them to storage, keeping the area clean and safe, and assisting with general cleaning. PTO, bakery discounts, referral bonuses, and a team-friendly environment are included.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Mon-Fri, 10 AM–2 PM; no evenings or weekends; schedule is fixed.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize bakery trays, utensils, equipment, and other production items by hand or using our commercial dishwasher.
• Return clean items to their designated storage areas so they are ready for use.
• Empty garbage and remove cardboard throughout the bakery.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and stacking trays.
• Support daily bakery operations by helping maintain a clean and sanitary production environment.

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Willingness to learn and help wherever needed.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Previous dishwashing, cleaning, or food service experience is a plus, but not required; we're willing to train!

Physical Requirements:

This is an active, hands-on position in a bakery production environment. The job requires:

Standing and moving throughout the shift.

Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements.

• Lifting, carrying, and moving trays, equipment, and other items, which could weigh up to 50 pounds; pushing/pulling cabinets and racks that could weigh up to 350 pounds
