Heritage Grand Bakery is seeking two (2) Bakers to assist the Executive Head Baker in managing all aspects of daily bread production, focusing on high-quality bread using both regular and ancient grains. Overnight and day shifts are available.

Qualifications
  • Passion for bread and ancient grains
  • Experience with mixing, proofing, and baking bread, including sourdough
  • Excellent communication skills in the primary language(s) of the area
  • 3+ years of baking experience in a similar environment
  • Attention to detail and proactive in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and coaching a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Food Handler Certificate
  • Inventory management experience
  • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours) and lift up to 30 lbs
Responsibilities
  • Assist in all production aspects: scaling, mixing, proofing, baking
  • Manage daily production, including special orders and holiday items
  • Support R&D for new products
  • Supervise and train bakery staff
  • Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
  • Assist with daily ordering and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
