Located in the historic Puck Building, Torrisi, a love letter to Little Italy, presents an Italian-American restaurant with an extensive wine program, a New York-Italian cocktail bar, and a luxe deli. Chef Rich Torrisi presides over an open kitchen, offering showstopping dishes, many prepared or finished tableside to foster warm and welcoming hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook foods based on recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Follow recipes accurately and completely.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping and storing food.
• Clean and restock workstations, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for the next shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, adhering to sanitation and health regulations.

Requirements

• Completed a pastry arts degree or certificate.
• Worked in a professional kitchen for 2+ years.
• Food handler's certification (required).
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
