Job summary

Kj’s Market in Dillon, SC is seeking a part-time, customer-focused team member to assist guests on the floor. You will greet guests, bag orders, and help with carts, while coordinating with supervisors to ensure great service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, thank them, offer bag options, and follow courtesy guidelines.
• Bag guest orders to prevent damage.
• Assist guests and coordinate with hosts and supervisors.
• Place purchases in carts or hand bags to guests, offering help to their vehicles.
• Perform price checks and relay guest issues to a supervisor.
• Retrieve carts from parking lot and maintain cleanliness of front areas.
• Clean front end, break room, rest rooms, lobby, parking lot, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Actively communicates with every guest including greeting, thanking, offering a choice of bag type, and performing any other courtesy guideline.
• Properly bags guest orders to ensure purchases are not damaged.
• Works well with all host and supervisors.
• Places guest purchases in grocery cart or hands bags to the guest and sincerely offers assistance to the guest vehicle.
• Performs price checks.
• Relay guest problems to supervisor.
• Retrieves carts from parking lot.
• Cleans front end, break room, rest rooms, lobby, parking lot, etc.
• Cleans garbage and debris from carts and baskets.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to retrieve and push in shopping carts.
• Ability to bend and lift to load guest orders into cars.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
