Job summary

Brightline Trains is hiring a Baggage Attendant in Florida. You will welcome guests, manage checked baggage, and assist with security and station operations to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. The role requires physical activity, rotating shifts, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Six months of similar experience in concierge, bellhop, hotels, airports, guest services, or transportation is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legal permission to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English at a high school level.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and engage in conversation when appropriate.
• Anticipate guest needs and share information about stations and surrounding areas.
• Follow baggage operations best practices to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Receive and process checked baggage and secure on carts with brakes and straps.
• Scan baggage using provided devices and report deficiencies to managers.
• Coordinate baggage movement to platforms and loading areas.
• Ensure accuracy of baggage tagging and secure transport to trains.
• Maintain clean working spaces and communicate across shifts.
