Job summary

PopUp Bagels Studio City is seeking a Bagel Baker to help in our scratch-made kitchen. You will learn multiple stations, assist during peak service, and contribute to creating exceptional guest experiences.

No experience is necessary; you only need a passion for good food, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required; lifting up to 25-50 lbs.

Qualifications

• An eye for detail and solving challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever necessary.
• A desire for growth in our restaurants.
• The ability to perform the physical requirements of the position (frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds). These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to different stations within the Bagel shop(s).
• Speak to current menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients with guests - making their day special as you provide them with a delicious scratch-made bagel.
• Work to support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time.
• Help to maintain a minimum standard "A" letter grade by following the Department of Health and PopUp Bagels food safety standards.
• Demonstrate professional maturity and strictly uphold PopUp Bagel’s anti-discrimination & anti-harassment policies.
