Job summary

PopUp Bagels in New York is seeking motivated team members to learn in our fast-paced bagel shop. Gain exposure to different stations, work with fresh ingredients, and contribute to a scratch-made menu in a supportive environment.

No experience is required, but a can-do attitude, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are essential. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and daily complimentary bagels.

Qualifications

• No experience is necessary.
• Desire to create exceptional employee & guest experiences.
• Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to different stations within the Bagel shop(s).
• Speak to guests about menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients to make their day special with a scratch-made bagel.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service by helping wherever needed.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time; physical requirements may apply.
• Maintain a minimum standard A grade by following health and safety standards.
