Job summary

Classic Packaging Company is seeking a reliable bag machine operator to run the bag-making line, inspect bags for quality, and prepare products for shipment. The role includes unloading, boxing, and palletizing finished bags while maintaining a clean and safe work area around the equipment.

Shifts are 8 hours, with a Sunday-Thursday schedule from 11:00pm to 7:00am. Compensation is $16.00 per hour plus shift differential, and the company offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Operate a bag-making machine and oversee the packing line.
• Perform continuous inspection of bags for quality.
• Unload finished bags and box them for palletizing.
• Verify materials used and produced by the bag machine.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area around the machine.

Responsibilities

• Operate bag machine and monitor output for quality.
• Load finished bags into boxes and prepare for palletizing.
• Move pallets to the shipping area as needed.
• Assist with material verification and machine maintenance.
• Adhere to safety rules and standard operating procedures.

A bag machine is a machine that takes rolls of plastic material, folds it over, seals it, and creates a bag. Performing continuous inspection of the bags coming off of the machine for quality. Unloading finished bags from the machine and placing them in boxes. Placing the boxes of bags onto pallets as they are produced. Verification of materials being used and produced by the bag machine. Maintaining the area around the machine.
