Job summary

Classic Packaging in North Carolina is seeking a bag machine operator to run the bag production line, perform quality inspections, and help maintain the work area. This full-time night shift runs Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am with a shift differential.

You will unload finished bags, box them, and palletize as they are produced, verify materials, and join a family-owned team offering benefits like health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/packaging preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended shifts and lift boxes.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous inspection of bags exiting the machine for quality.
• Unload finished bags and box them.
• Stack boxes onto pallets as produced.
• Verify materials used and produced by the bag machine.
• Maintain cleanliness and order around the machine.

A bag machine is a machine that takes rolls of plastic material, folds it over, seals it, and creates a bag. Performing continuous inspection of the bags coming off of the machine for quality. Unloading finished bags from the machine and placing them in boxes. Placing the boxes of bags onto pallets as they are produced. Verification of materials being used and produced by the bag machine. Maintaining the area around the machine.
