Job summary
Classic Packaging Company is seeking a reliable bag machine operator to run the bag-making line, inspect bags for quality, and prepare products for shipment. The role includes unloading, boxing, and palletizing finished bags while maintaining a clean and safe work area around the equipment.
Shifts are 8 hours, with a Sunday-Thursday schedule from 11:00pm to 7:00am. Compensation is $16.00 per hour plus shift differential, and the company offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth
Qualifications
- Operate a bag-making machine and oversee the packing line.
- Perform continuous inspection of bags for quality.
- Unload finished bags and box them for palletizing.
- Verify materials used and produced by the bag machine.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area around the machine.
Responsibilities
- Operate bag machine and monitor output for quality.
- Load finished bags into boxes and prepare for palletizing.
- Move pallets to the shipping area as needed.
- Assist with material verification and machine maintenance.
- Adhere to safety rules and standard operating procedures.
