Job summary

Accredo Packaging, Inc. in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Bag Machine Operator to set up, operate and maintain high-speed bag-making equipment, ensuring output meets customer specifications and quality standards.

You will monitor machine performance, resolve stoppages, perform quality checks, document results, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Shifts are Monday through Friday with Shift B (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) and Shift C (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) plus $2 shift differential.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Prior bag machine experience preferred.
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Eligible to work in the United States and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate bag machines and support equipment to produce bags per line orders and specs.
Adjust machines for size, pressure, tension, and ink distribution for optimal performance.
Read and verify production orders and dockets for accuracy; load materials and mount printing cylinders.
Monitor runs and resolve stoppages, breakdowns, or other issues; document downtime and maintenance.
Perform quality checks on finished products and ensure they meet standards; maintain a clean, safe work area.
