Job summary

XPECT Solutions, LLC is seeking a Badging Technician to support the NIH facilities in Bethesda, MD. The role involves identity verification, badge issuance (PIV and Legacy), and processing, with a focus on secure access control for NIH personnel, patients, and visitors.

Primary responsibilities include coordinating with DPSAC, NIH teams, and security to ensure accurate badge issuance, timely handling of appointments, and updating badge statuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to pass background checks (Tier 5).
• Ability to work scheduled shifts (Mon-Fri).

Responsibilities

• Verify identity with government photo IDs.
• Fingerprint clients for government background checks.
• Issue NIH/PIV and Legacy badges.
• Photograph applicants for Legacy badges.
• Manage badge-related databases and records.
• Assist clients and respond to calls/emails about issuance.
• Schedule appointments and deactivate badges when needed.
