Bacon Production Team Member – 1st & 2nd Shift

Job summary

Kraft Heinz, Inc. in Coshocton, OH is seeking a full-time line worker for 2nd shift to support production of OM bacon.

You will perform safety inspections, ensure guards are in place, follow Quality Production Specifications, PPE and GMP, and maintain cleanliness to ensure product quality. You will load drafts, coordinate with conveyors, downgrade non-conforming drafts, and work as part of a team to keep the line running efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3 years manufacturing experience required (6 months relevant experience in the last 12 months).
• 1 year of stable work history strongly preferred.
• Ability to stand for the duration of shift and work in refrigerated temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work full-time with overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform all pre-operational safety inspections
• Make sure guards are in place at work station
• Know and follow all Quality Production Specifications in performance of the job
• Know and follow all PPE and GMP in the performance of this job to ensure proper cleanliness of product
• Use practices consistent with the highest possible quality and yield results
• Take single drafts of OM bacon and arrange them correctly onto product cards
• Place drafts of bacon onto the lug conveyor/table correctly, carefully, and timely making sure to fill all available holes
• Downgrade necessary drafts that are not OM quality to proper grade
• Work as a team and assist other arrangers as needed on the line
• Keep area clean by sweeping floors, emptying white tubs into v-mags, clearing packages from green tub, emptying trash cans, and emptying red tubs into yellow barrels
• Assist with rejects while at extra position or while there is downtime on the line
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervision
• All employees are responsible for the implementation, on-going maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Risk Management Process (QRMP) here at Coshocton
• Proficient in developing technologies
