Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Coshocton, Ohio is seeking a Production Team Member for 1st and 2nd shifts. You will perform general production duties in a food-manufacturing environment, following strict product standards and safety guidelines.

Starting wage is $21.87 per hour with timed pay increases. Training precedes placement on a home position, and weekend work is required. This union facility values teamwork and consistent quality in every step.

Qualifications

• Stand for the duration of shift excluding breaks.
• Ability to work in refrigerated temperatures for the duration of shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work full-time and overtime.
• Willingness to work weekend shift and second shift (afternoon start).
• 1 year of stable work history strongly preferred.
• 3 years manufacturing experience required (6 months relevant in last 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operational safety inspections.
• Ensure guards are in place at the workstation.
• Follow quality production specifications.
• Follow PPE and GMP for cleanliness.
• Maintain highest quality and efficiency.
• Arrange drafts of OM bacon onto product cards.
• Place drafts onto conveyors, ensuring all holes are filled.
• Downgrade drafts to proper grade as needed.
• Work as a team and assist on the line.
• Keep area clean (sweeping, trash, etc.).
• Assist with rejects during downtime on the line.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervision.
• Contribute to QRMP implementation and continuous improvement at Coshocton.
• Proficient in developing technologies.

New hires should expect to do initial training primarily through the week before bidding to or being placed into a home position. Ability to work weekends is required.

Job Overview:

Employees will perform general production duties in a food‑manufacturing environment and will work within strict product standards. Typical positions an employee will fill include arranging bacon, pressing pork bellies, hand packing on an assembly line, stacking finished cases, and rotating work assignments. This position’s starting wage is $21.87 per hour with timed pay increases.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform all pre‑operational safety inspections
• Ensure guards are in place at work station
• Follow all quality production specifications in performance of the job
• Follow all PPE and GMP to ensure proper cleanliness of product
• Use practices consistent with the highest possible quality and achieve best results
• Take single drafts of OM bacon and arrange them correctly onto product cards
• Place drafts of bacon onto the lug conveyor/table correctly, carefully, and timely, making sure to fill all available holes
• Downgrade necessary drafts that are not OM quality to proper grade
• Work as a team and assist other arrangers as needed on the line
• Keep area clean by sweeping floors, emptying white tubs, clearing packages, emptying trash cans, and emptying red tubs into yellow barrels
• Assist with rejects while at extra position or during downtime on the line
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervision
• All employees responsible for the implementation, ongoing maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Risk Management Process (QRMP) at Coshocton
• Proficient in developing technologies

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for the duration of shift excluding designated break times
• Ability to work in refrigerated temperatures for duration of shift excluding designated break times
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work full‑time and overtime
• Ability to work on weekend shift and second shift (afternoon start time)
• 1 year of stable work history strongly preferred
• 3 years manufacturing experience required (6 months relevant experience in the last 12 months)
