Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Receiver to support backroom and inventory operations. You will accurately receive, process, and stock merchandise, inspect items for quality, and help ensure products are available for the sales floor.

• Ability to accurately receive, inspect, and process merchandise.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to use receiving equipment per policy and safety rules.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Cavender’s culture and values.
• Receive, process, and stock merchandise accurately, including orders and returns.
• Inspect items for quality, tagging, and placement.
• Maintain organized backroom and support store operations.
• Operate receiving equipment and ensure safe use.
• Assist with inventory management and merchandise flow.
• Train stockers on receiving processes and backroom organization.
• Report safety or system concerns to management.
• Maintain professional appearance and punctual attendance.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
