Job summary

Cavender's is looking for a Receiver to support backroom and inventory operations. You will accurately receive, process, and stock merchandise, helping maintain inventory accuracy and store standards.

This role partners with the store team to ensure smooth merchandise flow and an exceptional customer experience. The Receiver will inspect incoming goods, organize back stock, operate receiving equipment, and assist with housekeeping and safety in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately receive, inspect, and process merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and position merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the work shift.
• Ability to safely use store equipment, including handheld devices and barcode printers, in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Support Cavender's culture and company values while aiding inventory flow.
• Receive, process, and stock merchandise including orders, transfers, and returns, ensuring accuracy.
• Inspect merchandise for quality and proper tagging, and report discrepancies promptly.
