Job summary

Cavender's is seeking a Receiver to support backroom and inventory operations by accurately receiving, processing, and stocking merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy and store standards.

You will inspect incoming merchandise, organize inventory, and help ensure products are available for the sales floor, collaborating with the store team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and flexibility to cover varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to inspect and process merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Safely use store equipment including handheld devices and barcode printers.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and stock merchandise; verify documentation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and backroom organization.
• Train stockers on receiving processes.
• Report safety or system concerns to management.
