Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Receiver to support backroom and inventory operations, accurately receiving, processing, and stocking merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy and store standards. You will inspect incoming merchandise, organize inventory, and help ensure products are available for the sales floor.

Responsibilities include operating receiving equipment, maintaining a clean backroom, and collaborating with store leadership to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

• Able to receive, inspect, and process merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to read and understand English and follow instructions.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock merchandise per procedures.
• Maintain backroom inventory accuracy and organization.
• Operate barcode printers and handheld devices to process receipts.
• Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and shelf placement of items.
• Support store team with merchandise flow and backroom tasks.
