Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Receiver to support backroom and inventory operations by accurately receiving, processing, and stocking merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy and store standards. You will inspect incoming goods, organize inventory, and help ensure products are available for the sales floor, contributing to an exceptional customer experience.

Key duties include receiving, processing, and stocking orders, transfers, and returns; maintaining backroom cleanliness and organization;

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately receive, inspect, and process merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and position merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely use store equipment, including handheld devices and barcode printers.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock merchandise, including POs, transfers, special orders, and returns.
• Maintain backroom inventory accuracy and organization.
• Operate receiving equipment and barcode devices to support daily operations.
• Support store operations and merchandise flow to ensure product availability.
• Train stockers on receiving processes and backroom organization.
