Job summary

Cavender’s in the United States is seeking a Receiver to support backroom and inventory operations by accurately receiving, processing, and stocking merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy and store standards.

The Receiver inspects incoming merchandise, organizes inventory, and helps ensure products are available for the sales floor, working collaboratively with the store team to deliver efficient merchandise flow and an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately receive, inspect, and process merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to read and understand English and follow instructions.
• Proven ability to maintain organization and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support Cavender’s Culture and company values.
• Accurately receive, process, and stock merchandise including POs, transfers, and returns.
• Inspect merchandise for quality, tagging, boot pairing, and label placement.
• Maintain backroom inventory accuracy and organization.
• Operate receiving equipment such as barcode printers and handheld devices.
• Maintain a clean, safe backroom and assist with store cleanliness.
• Collaborate with store leadership to support inventory flow and goals.
• Train stockers on receiving processes and backroom organization.
• Report safety or system concerns to management.
• Attend to schedule, appearance, and company policies; assist with other tasks as needed.
