Job summary

Cavender’s is looking for a Receiver in Little Rock, AR to support backroom and inventory operations by accurately receiving, processing, and stocking merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy and store standards.

You will inspect incoming merchandise, organize stock, and help ensure products are available for the sales floor. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operating barcode printers and handheld devices, and teamwork with the store team for efficient merchandise flow.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately receive, inspect, and process merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and position merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely use receiving equipment and devices in accordance with company policies.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, process, and stock merchandise, ensuring documentation matches and discrepancies are reported.
• Inspect merchandise for quality, tagging, and label placement.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by organizing back stock and processing paperwork.
• Operate and maintain receiving equipment (barcode printers, handheld devices).
• Collaborate with store leadership to support inventory management and merchandise flow.
• Train stockers on receiving processes and backroom organization.
