HomeGoods at The TJX Companies, Inc. in Baytown is seeking a team-oriented Associate to execute receiving, merchandising, and customer-service responsibilities.

You will help maintain organized backrooms, tag and stock merchandise, and support daily store operations with a focus on safety and efficiency. You’ll join a diverse, growth‑oriented environment with opportunities to learn and advance within a leading off-price retailer.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards; ensures Associates process efficiently and effectively
• Delivers excellent customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with management to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Promotes safety, labor compliance, and adherence to store policies
