Job summary

The TJ Maxx store in Knightdale, NC is seeking a retail associate to support receiving, merchandising, and customer service. You will help process merchandise, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, organized store while upholding safety and company standards.

Flexibility to work nights/weekends, strong communication, and teamwork are valued. Prior retail experience is appreciated; this is a full-time role with a competitive hourly wage and benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience
• 6 months of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards
• Ensures an excellent customer experience by engaging customers
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes processing onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Maintains merchandise tagging, hanging, securing, and coding
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty for efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Monitors team productivity and coaches as needed
• Organizes back stock for replenishment
• Maintains merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Ensures safety and compliance with labor laws and policies
