Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Receiver to support backroom and inventory operations in Shreveport, LA. You will accurately receive, process, and stock merchandise, inspect items, and help ensure products are available for the sales floor while maintaining inventory accuracy and store standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately receive, inspect, and process merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly during shifts.
• Ability to safely operate store equipment and handheld devices per policy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and stock merchandise including POs, transfers, special orders, and returns, ensuring documentation matches.
• Inspect merchandise for quality, tagging, proper placement, and label accuracy.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by organizing back stock and processing related paperwork.
• Operate and maintain receiving equipment such as barcode printers and handheld devices.
