Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking a surge/cleanup role in Cape Canaveral, FL to support our Production Control team. You will lead backlog repair including aging orders, MRP data checks, and kit-related blockers to keep the schedule on track.

The role requires experience with ERP/MRP systems, strong data integrity skills, and willingness to cover off-nominal shifts to sustain throughput across service centers.

Qualifications

• Experience with schedule management, expediting, or backlog/data clean-up in manufacturing/production.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP systems experience (SAP, Costpoint or similar).
• Ability to work independently in a high-tempo, high-ambiguity environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive down the work-order backlog by dispositioning idle orders and closing out orders.
• Execute targeted expedite efforts on hot jobs and identify material/kits needs to prevent schedule slip.
• Provide off-nominal shift coverage (B/C/D) as needed to keep WIP moving.
• Maintain MRP/ERP data integrity and communicate daily backlog status.
