Qualifications

Ability to read, understand and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Must possess a valid MA Backflow Device Tester License and Cross Connection Survey License.
Must hold a valid MA driver’s license and be able to coordinate with agencies.

Responsibilities

Inspect cross connection controls, grease traps and related disposal mechanisms for compliance.
Arrange property surveys to identify cross connection or grease trap violations.
Develop concise reports with remedial recommendations for owners and parties.
Perform inspections and tests on approved backflow and grease trap devices and share reports promptly.
Explain relevant laws and regulations to interested parties.
Maintain electronic and written reports, time sheets, and monthly activity records.
Coordinate work with Mass. DEP and other agencies; assist in legal investigations if needed.
