Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
• 5+ years of applied software development experience
• Strong programming in Core Java
• TDD/BDD using mocking frameworks
• Experience with IoC frameworks in Java (Spring or Guice)
• Understanding of messaging/streaming tech (Kafka, IBM MQ, Solace or Ignite)
• Strong CI/CD, resiliency and security fundamentals
• Knowledge of SDLC and software processes (cloud, AI/ML)
• Exposure to cloud tech and certifications (nice to have)
• Python skills are desirable

• Collaborate directly with Investment Teams, Traders, and PMs without reliance on BAs or PMOs
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment on a high-profile Asset Management platform
• Work in an Agile team delivering production updates
• Influence peers and decision-makers on use of leading-edge technologies
• Provide technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors and vendors
• Drive product design, functionality, and operational decisions
• Serve as a function-wide SME in one or more focus areas
• Contribute to engineering community through SDLC practices
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code
