Job summary

JPMorganChase in Columbus, OH seeks a Java / Python Lead Software Engineer- Trading Systems to drive development of scalable market data and trading platforms. You will lead an agile team, design robust services, and deliver secure production code across Java, Python and React-based components.

As a core technical contributor, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners, evaluate architectures, and mentor developers while integrating CI/CD and cloud-native practices to ensure stability

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java and Python; strong experience with Java, Microservices, Spring Boot and React.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting for complex problems.
• Develops secure high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Leads architecture discussions and evaluations with vendors and internal teams.
