Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 8+ years applied experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to validate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations and secure handling of inputs/outputs.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Lead and inspire a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers, fostering collaboration and excellence.
• Oversee technical design, architecture, and implementation for high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
• Develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets to support improvement of software.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation to improve stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams for architecture validation.
• Lead communities of practice to promote new technologies.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery.
