Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS or related field.
• Experience building REST APIs with Spring Boot or equivalent.
• Familiarity with at least one relational DB and one NoSQL DB.
• Familiarity with Git, Linux, testing, Agile, and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services, REST APIs, and modular or microservice-based apps using Python and/or Java.
• Design data access layers for PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB or similar.
• Write clean, maintainable code with SOLID principles and proper error handling.
• Create unit and integration tests; perform code reviews and release readiness tasks.
• Containerize and deploy apps using Docker and CI/CD across cloud or Linux environments.
• Use Git, Maven, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, and Jira to support development and delivery tracking.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and communicate tradeoffs, risks, and progress.
