Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Python and/or Java. You will develop database integrations, write clean, testable code, and participate in Agile ceremonies in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Approximately 4 years of software development experience.
• Experience developing REST APIs and using Spring Boot or a comparable framework.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, Git, Linux, testing, and the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, work independently, and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Python and/or Java.
• Develop database integrations using relational and NoSQL databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code with appropriate validation and error handling.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, debugging, and production support.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, QA, business, and data teams to deliver reliable software solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate technical risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.
