Job summary

Front is a customer operations platform built for B2B complexity, uniting teams, tools, and conversations to help companies scale without losing connection. As a Software Engineer on the Foundations team, you’ll work at the intersection of platform engineering and developer experience, building the systems that empower frontend features and scale with the company.

You’ll design and implement backend frameworks and internal tooling, influence architecture, and collaborate across engineering teams

Qualifications

• Backend-focused engineer with strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
• Experience building frameworks, libraries, or developer tools.
• Proven ability to build distributed, reliable, observable systems.
• Strong architectural thinking and high-complexity project delivery.
• Clear communication with fellow engineers and ability to articulate trade-offs.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and operate without a fully defined roadmap.
• Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative, high-growth environments.
