Anthropic is seeking a Software Engineer for its Web Platform team to design and ship shared components, evolve BFF APIs, and improve build/deploy/observability systems. You will influence how fast and reliably multiple product teams ship features across web and mobile.

The role emphasizes developer experience, with opportunities to impact dozens of features through foundational tooling and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern web technologies (React/TypeScript) and building or consuming frontend APIs.
• Focus on developer experience and building tools that boost engineer productivity.
• Strong reliability, observability, and performance practices in production systems.

Responsibilities

• Improve developer velocity by reducing friction in build, deploy, and test pipelines.
• Improve performance and reliability, enhance observability, and set high platform standards.
• Design and build shared UI components, libraries, and abstractions for web and mobile.
• Collaborate with product teams to understand needs and guide platform investments.
• Maintain and evolve platform docs and tooling for new engineers.
