Job summary

Reflection is building a foundations platform to accelerate every engineering team by providing reliable, scalable infrastructure and high-throughput data tooling. The team designs cloud projects, networking, and access patterns with emphasis on secure defaults, guardrails, and cost visibility.

Engineers collaborate across cloud infrastructure, security, and developer tooling to ship fast while maintaining reliability, security, and cost predictability at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping production-grade infrastructure/platform systems.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms, networking, security architecture, or developer tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain golden paths for cloud projects, networking, and access patterns.
• Ship secure defaults and guardrails to make the safe path the easy path.
• Build and operate core networking primitives including routing, DNS, load balancing, and connectivity.
• Establish baseline observability and operational hygiene across services and infrastructure.
• Own developer infrastructure such as build systems, CI/CD, caching, and test infrastructure to keep engineers shipping fast.
• Drive cloud cost visibility and reduction through tooling, guardrails, and optimization without slowing teams down.
