Job summary
CVS Health seeks a technically fluent Backend Capability Product Specialist to own the backend platform, API ecosystem, and third‑party integration layer of our SaaS product suite. You will bridge engineering, strategy, and market intelligence to create scalable, interoperable systems powering internal and partner integrations.

Qualifications
- 7+ years in product management with SaaS/backend focus.
- 4+ years on backend APIs/platform products.
- Experience delivering SaaS platform features at scale in B2B/enterprise contexts.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns.
- Familiar with API specs (OpenAPI/Swagger) and modern interoperability standards.
Responsibilities
- Own backend platform and API roadmap; define standards and DX principles.
- Lead third-party integrations and marketplace ecosystem development.
- Collaborate with architects on HL7 FHIR/SMART on FHIR and TEFCA participation.
- Manage end-to-end integration lifecycle from vendor eval to go-live.
- Act as API evangelist; translate technical needs into clear specs and acceptance criteria.
