Job summary

Jabil in Florence, KY seeks a supervisor to lead the back end of the manufacturing line. You will coordinate line workload with the Manufacturing Supervisor, oversee staffing by product priority, and ensure adherence to workmanship standards and CIQ-driven problem resolution.

You will drive efficient changeovers, control inventory and supplies, verify accurate documentation, train and motivate the line team, track production, and enforce safety rules to keep the area clean and compliant.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; 2–6 years in a related Jabil production role.
• Minimum 18 months in S03 role; eligible for promotion after 6 months in S04.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate line workload and staffing by product priority.
• Ensure workmanship standards and monitor CIQ to fix problems quickly.
• Minimize changeover times through organized procedures.
• Minimize excess material; ensure stock and operation supplies are available.
• Verify that documentation on the line is accurate and current.
• Inform employees of deviations or changes; provide guidance as needed.
• Motivate and coach line members; give timely feedback.
• Track production and meet deadlines and schedules.
• Maintain safety rules and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Keep the area clean, organized and compliant with policies.
