Job summary

Sprinter Health is seeking a Backend or Full-Stack Software Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to build core systems powering last-mile healthcare delivery. You will design backend services, APIs, and data flows, and may ship full-stack features including UI elements.

You’ll own high-impact systems from routing to device integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building and scaling backend or full-stack systems in production.
• Designed APIs, data models, and services powering real products.
• Led projects end-to-end from architecture to delivery.
• Mentored junior and mid-level engineers through reviews and pairing.
• Shipped features independently and with cross-functional partners.
• Built environments balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and APIs for booking, routing, and device integrations.
• Ship full-stack features end-to-end (if applicable), from data models to UI.
• Tackle scheduling, dispatch, safety checks, and error prevention at scale.
• Integrate with external health systems, telemedicine, and medical devices.
• Collaborate with product, data, ops, and clinical teams to ship software.
• Own projects from 0 to 1 and help evolve engineering practices.
