Job summary

Sprinter Health is hiring a Senior Backend or Full‑Stack Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to build core systems powering last‑mile healthcare delivery. You’ll design backend services, data flows, and integrations that drive clinician routing, patient bookings, and medical device interfaces.

The role blends logistics, patient experience, safety, and medical operations, requiring ownership from 0→1 and collaboration across product, data, ops, and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building backend or full-stack systems in production.
• Experience designing APIs and data models.
• Led projects or pods end-to-end — from architecture and planning to delivery.
• Mentored junior and mid-level engineers through reviews and guidance.
• Shipped features independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with health tech or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and APIs powering booking, routing, logistics, and device integrations.
• Ship full-stack product features end-to-end, including data modeling, business logic, and UI if full-stack.
• Solve complex operational challenges like scheduling, dispatch, safety checks, and error prevention at scale.
• Integrate with external health systems, telemedicine platforms, and medical devices securely.
• Collaborate with product, data, ops, and clinical teams to turn real-world problems into shipped software.
• Own projects from 0→1 and evolve engineering practices as we scale.
