Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience building and operating production backend services.
• Strong experience building backend services and REST APIs with Java Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or similar.
• Deep experience with relational databases and complex SQL plus safe migrations.
• Experience designing REST API contracts, versioning, and OpenAPI documentation.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and React for customer-facing features.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and enterprise identity concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical initiatives across teams.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tooling and AI-first engineering culture.
• Strong communication and collaboration across Product, Design, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Developer Portal features end-to-end, from API contracts to frontend integration.
• Own data models and REST API contracts with careful versioning and backwards compatibility.
• Develop secure Developer Portal capabilities including OAuth2, SSO, and multi-tenant access.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Architecture, and Platform teams to grow the platform.
