Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Backend AI Software Integration Engineer to build a multi-tenant GenAI Security Platform. You will focus on Python-based backend development, creating middleware APIs and data ingestion hooks to embed Prisma AIRS across enterprise AI pipelines.

You will work on asynchronous microservices, AI gateway integrations, and secure workflows, collaborating with teams to accelerate integration timelines and deliver reliable AI security solutions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in Software Engineering with backend and cloud security focus.
• Production-level Python for asynchronous backends and microservices.
• Experience APIs (REST, gRPC, WebSockets) and API gateways.
• Experience data transformation between systems.
• Experience with AI stacks: LLM APIs, vector storage, MCP.
• Ability to design technical architecture blueprints and secure AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance Python microservices.
• Develop API endpoints, webhooks, and data ingestion hooks for LLM workflows.
• Create middleware and AI gateway integrations with security controls.
• Document architecture diagrams and Prisma AIRS integration points.
• Build automated LLM probing pipelines and expose telemetry APIs.
• Review partner architectures and provide SDKs for faster integration.
