Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years in software engineering or systems integration focused on backend development and cloud security.
• Mastery of Python for asynchronous backend services and API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask) with microservice architecture.
• Experience building and integrating enterprise APIs (REST, gRPC) and API gateways (Envoy, Kong).
• Data mapping and transformation between disparate data formats.
• Experience with middleware, webhooks, and retry logic for high-volume sync.
• Practical integration of LLM APIs, vector storage, and agent protocols (LangChain, LlamaIndex, MCP).
• Ability to create technical architecture blueprints and secure AI workloads; familiarity with Prisma AIRS.
• Testing with PyTest/unittest and robust distributed systems evaluation.
• Excellent customer focus and communication skills.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Backend software & API engineering: design, build, maintain fast, asynchronous microservices and databases in Python.
• AI ingestion & integration hooks: create endpoints and data flows for prompts, payloads, and logs.
• AI gateway & agent workflows: connect model providers with security controls and policy routing.
• Solution architecture & blueprints: document integration points for Prisma AIRS across environments.
• Automated red-teaming & API exposure: implement pipelines and telemetry endpoints for dashboards/ SIEM.
• Technical onboarding: review partner architectures and deliver SDKs to speed integration.
• Travel: role may require travel.
