Job summary

BlueCloud is seeking a software engineer to design and build a next-generation reliability platform for our production systems.

You’ll blend distributed systems engineering with AI-assisted development to give teams a single place to understand, debug, and improve the health of their services.

This is a highly creative, hands-on role with fast iteration, shipping, and a strong emphasis on reliability, quality, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in backend or full-stack engineering for production systems.
• Strong Python proficiency with robust API design.
• Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into working solutions.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and LLMs.
• Familiarity with AI tooling and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Build a centralized reliability command center across services and environments.
• Create AI agents for incident triage, root-cause exploration, and log/trace summaries.
• Develop developer-facing features and APIs to explore data and debug issues.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to prototype and ship high-quality code quickly.
• Own projects end-to-end from requirements to rollout.
• Collaborate with product, infra, data, and SRE teams to translate pain points into solutions.
