Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Manager for Platform and Reliability Engineering to build and operate a secure, reliable foundation for enterprise AI. You will manage cloud infrastructure, runtimes, model access, deployment pipelines, and observability to enable AI solutions across teams.

You will automate environments and security controls, monitor performance, and lead incident response and recovery.

Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, containers, orchestration, and CI / CD pipelines, including automated security and deployment checks.
• Experience applying site reliability engineering practices, including service objectives, alerting, incident response, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
• Experience implementing centralized logs, metrics, distributed traces, and dashboards to diagnose production failures and performance issues.
• Experience operating model gateways or AI workloads, and implementing LLMOps practices.
• Knowledge of LLM operational requirements, including model gateways, rate limits, retries, timeouts, runtime isolation, and consumption costs.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the secure, reliable foundation for enterprise AI platforms.
• Provide cloud infrastructure, runtimes, model access, deployment pipelines, and observability services.
• Automate environments and security controls, monitor availability and cost, and lead incident response.
• Validate operational readiness and maintain deployment standards and runbooks across teams.
• Coordinate technical handoffs and document support responsibilities across AI, data, and forward-deployed engineering teams.
