Job summary

Toca Madera Las Vegas is seeking a Back Server to support the dining team and deliver a seamless, elevated experience for guests. This role works closely with an assigned Server to ensure table readiness, beverage service, and proactive guest communication.

The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking abilities, thrive in a fast-paced fine-dining environment, and be available for nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous fine dining experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong multitasking and service-focused work ethic.
• Ability to anticipate guest and operational needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for the duration of shifts and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Previous experience in fine dining or full-service restaurant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support servers with guest greetings and provide a welcoming experience; ensure smooth communication and teamwork.
• Execute beverage service, including pouring, refilling, and maintaining water levels.
• Prepare tables for each course by resetting silverware, plates, linens, and service items to a polished state.
• Maintain table cleanliness by removing used dishes, glassware, and debris.
• Deliver beverages from the service bar to guests.
• Review tickets or service information to anticipate upcoming courses and needs.
• Communicate clearly between guests, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Stock, organize, and maintain side stations to support service flow.
• Assist with suggesting food and beverage options and relay guest requests to the server.
• Stay present within the assigned section to ensure continuous service.
