Job summary

OHSU Immediate Care in Portland seeks a Back Office Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations across four clinic locations, ensuring staff performance, patient flow, and regulatory compliance.

The role manages back-office staff including MAs, LPNs, EMTs, and PAS trainees, coordinates scheduling, provides problem-solving leadership, and partners with the Practice Manager and Medical Director to improve patient experience and efficiency.

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent education/experience plus 2 yrs clinical lead/supervisory experience.
• Leadership and guidance for PAS, CSA and MA staff within the department.
• Overall responsibility for directing and coordinating daily front/back office functions and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Directs back and front office staff across four clinic locations.
• Builds and maintains schedules to ensure seven-day operations.
• Monitors patient flow, wait times, and quality of care across locations.
• Coordinates training and onboarding for staff; participates in discipline when needed.
