Carolina's Mexican Food in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Back of House Team Member to support our kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, dishwashing, and line service in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and maintaining health and safety standards; prior kitchen experience is preferred, bilingual is a plus, and food handler certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Training provided for specific duties.
• Bilingual preferred but not mandatory.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain food handler certifications.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: assist with tortillas and ingredient prep including washing, cutting, and marinating.
• Cooking: assist in cooking and assembling dishes following recipes.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: keep kitchen area clean and organized, wash dishes, sanitize workstations.
• Equipment Handling: operate and maintain kitchen equipment, report malfunctions or safety issues.
• Support Duties: assist other kitchen functions to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
